Reverend David Choi
Pastor of Adult English Ministry

A native of New Jersey, Rev. David “Dave” Choi has traveled and lived in several countries for school or overseas missions efforts.
Dave went to college at Colgate University, earning a Bachelor of Arts degree. After college, God called him to be a missionary in Egypt. While in Egypt, he studied Middle East Politics, earning his Master of Arts in Political Science at the American University in Cairo. Upon returning to the U.S., Dave discerned a call to pastoral ministry. He earned his Master of Divinity degree from Westminster Theological Seminary.
Dave is ordained in the Presbyterian Church in America (PCA) and has been serving at TCCGP since 2025.
Dave is happily married to Grace. In their free time they enjoy watching American football, taking walks, and spending time with their son.
Reverend David Liu
Pastor of Youth Ministry

David was born in Nanjing, China and immigrated to the US with his Christian parents and came to faith at a local Chinese church. While facing the hardships of studying chemical engineering at Cornell, he began to take his faith more seriously and became actively involved in campus ministry there with Cornell CRU.
After graduating from Cornell, David spent 3 years working for an IT company. In 2011, he answered God’s calling by enrolling at Westminster Theological Seminary to earn his Master of Divinity. After this, he served at First Ithaca Chinese Christian Church as an intern in the English ministry.
David has served at Trinity since 2017 and was ordained in 2024. In his free time, he likes to find great deals on everything from ice cream to computer monitors, and play board games.

Tong manages room scheduling, bulletins, church emails— just to name a few of the many things she does to keep the church running smoothly.

John has many years of experience in managing the church building and all aspects of its maintenance and repair.
Minister Ting-Hua Chang
Ministry of Chinese Ministry
Minister Chang was born in Taiwan. He came to the United States in 1989 and study for his master’s at New Mexico State University. During his studies, he became a believer in the Bible study class on campus. He graduated with a doctorate in 1999 and served as a postdoctoral researcher in the Department of Physics at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. After returning to Taiwan in 2002, he worked as a postdoctoral researcher, then transferred to teach in the Information Management Department of Lingtung University of Science and Technology in Taichung.
In 2014, he responded to God’s call and put down his work to study for a Master of Divinity at Chung Tai Theological Seminary in Taichung. After completing his studies, he went to the United States in 2018 to study at Westminster Theological Seminary. He obtained a master’s degree in theology in 2021 and then stayed at Trinity Chinese Church in Philadelphia to serve as a preacher.
While in Taiwan, he attended Taichung Liberty Road Baptist Church, served as a church deacon, a Sunday school teacher, and a Sunday speaker for nearly ten years. He and his church colleagues went to some areas to train disciples, and saw that the harvest field was vast but there was a shortage of workers. This call became the main direction of Minister Chang’s ministry in the future. Currently, Minister Chang oversees preaching, Sunday school, community service and discipleship training in the Chinese ministry.
Minister Chang and his wife have been married for nearly 30 years and have two daughters.
Minister Apollos Cui
Minister of Chinese Ministry
Apollos currently serves as a minister in the Chinese ministry of Trinity Church, primarily
responsible for preaching, Sunday school, discipleship, and counseling. He was
converted to Christianity in 2015. In the fall of 2021, he entered CRTS to pursue a Master of Divinity. In July 2025, he joined the Chinese ministry in full-time service, desiring to help believers be rooted in the truth and have their lives transformed by the gospel. He and his wife have one daughter, and he values living out the gospel and sharing the grace he has received in marriage, parenting, and faith.
